Spring Math and Literacy Packet (Kindergarten)

Spring is almost here and I can't wait!  I enjoyed making our new Spring Math and Literacy Packet for Kindergarten!  This packet is filled with FUN, hands-on and engaging activities that make learning exiting for kids!  I absolutely LOVE this packet and I hope you do, too!

This packet requires NO PREP!  Just PRINT the pages and TEACH!  All of the pages are black and white, which helps save money on all that costly colored ink!

*Spring Measurement - Use the built-in bee measuring ruler to measure the spring items

*Skip Counting Birds - Skip count by 2's from 2-50 and write the numbers on each bird
*Skip Counting Flowers - Skip count by 5's from 5-100 and write the numbers on each flower
*Skip Counting Bunnies - Skip count by 10's from 10-100 and write the numbers on each bunny, then write the numbers on the line.
*Blooming Base Tens (Read the number on the flower, count and color the base ten blocks to match)
*Spring Subtraction (Solve simple subtraction problems up to 10.  Use the built-in manipulatives to help solve the problems)
*Spring Addition  (Solve simple addition problems up to 10.  Use the built-in manipulatives to help solve the problems)
*Spring Counting by 2's (Count the ladybugs by groups of 2's, cut and paste to match)
*Spring Counting by 5's (Count the flowers by groups of 5's, cut and paste to match)
*Before and After (Look at the number inside the rainbow, write the number that comes before and after)
*Colorful Rainbows (Color each rainbow by the color code and solve the simple addition problems in each cloud)
*Counting Sticks (Count the popsicle sticks by groups of tens and ones, cut and paste to match (numbers 11-20)
*Spring Shopping (Count the nickels and pennies and answer the questions - Do you have enough to buy it?
*Ten Frames (Color the ten frame to match the number on each umbrella (11-20)
*Ten Frame Match (Count the dots on each ten frame set, cut and paste the number to match)
*Domino FUN!  Cut and paste the domino that makes the number sentence correct
*Bubble Bonds -Cut and paste the bubbles that make each number bond true.
*Rainy Day Addition (Solve the math problems on each raindrop, color by the code.
*Let's Make 10 Cents (Draw the number of pennies needed to make 10 cents.  Complete the number sentence.
