Win $25 Gift Certificates!

This is AMAZING!

Would you love to win a $25 gift certificate to purchase some extra resources for this coming school year?  I know I would!
Well...Teachers Notebook just launched a campaign to raise $10,000 (or more) to be given to educators (teachers/homeschoolers) as gift certificates to purchase the educational resources that YOU need to help YOUR students!

Watch the Video!
Check out the video by clicking on the Back to School Bonanza logo above.   You might even see some Moffatt Girl products;)

Spread the Word!
Teachers Notebook is sponsoring the campaign to raise the $10,000 (or more) from corporate sponsors and parents.  They need your help to make sure educators/homeschoolers have access to the educational resources they need.

Please help spread the word by visiting the fund-raising site and sharing it everywhere!  Share it on Facebook, your blogs, your Pinterest boards and Twitter!  The more people that view the campaign, the more contributions will be made and the more gift certificates can be given away to educators!  That means more chances for YOU to win gift certificates!!  Whoo-Hoo!

The campaign will last from now until August 8th.

Cutesify your Classroom Part 4 and a FREEBIE!!

I have a FREEBIE for you!!!
The school year is quickly approaching and I really want to make our "classroom" look cute!  Even though we have a homeschool classroom this year, the teacher in me really wants the girls to experience the feel of a traditional classroom...just a bit smaller:)

I made a cute pink and black banner because Audrey LOVES pink...so do I!  I also made some pink and black READ circles to put...somewhere...in the classroom.  Our classroom is still a work in progress, but I want it to be a place that feels good and inviting!  I am on a mission to "cutesify" our classroom!

Go grab your classroom banner for FREE!!  If you like your download, we would {HEART} it if you would as us as one of your favorites on Teachers Notebook:)

I hope you {HEART} this banner and I hope it makes your day a bit brighter when you are teaching:)

Body Tracing Activity

We are enjoying our summer and I hope you are too!!  Since Audrey LOVES to color, I decided to try a fun little project with her.   When I taught 5th grade, we would have the students trace their bodies and add the organs and skeletal structure so they could learn about the human body.  It was always a very popular activity with the kids and it is popular at The Moffatt Elementary School, too!

By the way, this is also a great way to add some fun into measurement!

How cute it that?  So simple, yet so much fun!!
