Graph the Math-Addition

I am super excited about my newest product...
Graph the Math-Additon!
I am always looking for ways to make learning FUN, while incorporating Common Core Standards.  This new Math the Graph-Addition Pack has 26 pages of math graphing equations for numbers up to 20.  It also has cute addition counters for students to use to solve the equations.

Students will enjoy solving the equations and then graphing or coloring them in the graph below.  Here is the printable in action at The Moffatt Girls house:)

Begin by choosing the Graphing Sheet for the sums that you want to work on.  Here we are working on solving equations with the sums of 2 and 4.  Therefore, we needed a total of 4 counters to solve the problems...

Next, solve all of the equations in the graphing cloud...

After solving the equations, you can choose two markers/crayons to highlight the two different sums.  Audrey used blue for the equations that had the sum of 3 and red for the equations that had the sum of 5.

You can also color them in with crayons...

Students can have the option to rewrite the equation in the graphs below...

or you can color in the graph according to how many equations have that particular sum.

I love this idea of adding AND graphing! Such a simple concept and I don't think I ever would've thought of it!
