Wow! I can't believe that we are already on Unit 7 of our Ready2Read Program!! I know that I say this each week, but I am continually amazed at how much Audrey's reading has developed since we started the Ready2Read Program!
If you are new to the Read2Read Program, check out the Information Page {

Unit 7 started off with our color-by-number sight words
We continue to sing our sight words to the tune of BINGO. Sophia really enjoys this activity too:) Although she is not even 2 yet, she grabs the sight words and a cookie sheet and says, "Mommy, sight words...sight words." She really loves singing:)
Our sight word caterpillar is 35 circles long!! We like to mix it up and read all the reds, all the blues and so forth.
Audrey likes to add the circles each week and then count them...
Decorating sight words is always a huge hit for us!
Squeezing those glue bottles are great for preparing for fine motor skills such as writing...

Once again, the cute word sorts are always a success! This week we worked with dinosaurs!!
We read our word slides and then wrote the words on our mini whiteboard. Audrey was so proud of her handwriting that she said, "Mommy, take a picture."
